How Did the Land of “PALESTINE” Become “ISRAEL”?

I am submitting a screen snap from F.C Happold’s book ‘The Adventure of Man’ published in 1926 (First publication) by Christophers Publication, London, United Kingdom.

The Historian Happold speaks the origins and affinities of Palestine. He points out that the present day Palestinians are an ethnic sub category of Semites with considerable infusion with ancient Hebrews, who later, converted to Islam, after the capture of Jerusalem by Caliph Umar Ibn Al-Khatthab.

Palestine did exist. Palestine technically does exist. Palestine is the old name for the territory as a whole, all of the Gaza strip and all of Israel, in the same way that Great Britain used to be called Albion.
