Undoubtedly Israel, But what can we do? Israel holds the record for ignoring United Nations Security Council resolutions but still the country is under the protection of USA and under the nourishment of European Union. The country itself is ‘Cancerous Tumour’ on earth, which, from it’s origin has terrorized, brutalized and murdered thousands and millions of people and has killed many peace envoys, leaders and politicians, all under a closed facade. Arafat, is one among them.
Arafat spent much of his life fighting against Israel in the name of Palestinian self-determination. Originally opposed to Israel’s existence, he modified his position in 1988 when he accepted UN Security Council Resolution 242.
Ariel Sharon, Israel’s prime minister at the time of Arafat’s death, viewed him as a terrorist and an obstacle to peace. Sharon had stated publicly that he regretted not “eliminating” Arafat during the 1982 invasion of Lebanon.
Swiss scientists who conducted tests on samples taken from Yasser Arafat’s body have found at least 18 times the normal levels of radioactive polonium 210 in his remains. The scientists said that they were confident up to an 83 percent level that the late Palestinian leader was poisoned with it.
Polonium is a powerful element in the periodic table and has more isotopes than any other element, all of which are radioactive. very few countries have Polonium, notably USA, Russia and Israel.
Use of Polonium as a method to poison or execute enemies was first came to light when Russia poisoned it’s former spy, Alexander Valterovich Litvinenko, who at the time fled to London for political asylum. It is considered as the ‘Beginning of an era of nuclear terrorism’.
In the United States, polonium was produced as part of the Manhattan Project during World War II. It was a critical part of the implosion-type nuclear weapon used in the bombing of Nagasaki in 1945 in which 70,000 people died instantly and more than 50,000 die later from radiation sickness.
However, these two Super Powers, US and Russian, though known for their treachery, had no direct advantage of committing this crime. Now who remains in our suspect list, is Israel, a country which can go so far to protect it’s illegitimate existence and Israel is the sole monopoly over nuclear facility in the entire Middle East and North Africa and the policy of the big powers, so far, seems to be reiterating Israel’s view point.
The Whole world of Nature is a mighty struggle between strength and weakness – an external but temporary, victory of the strong over the weak. Oppressed States which seek justice from the elementary law would fall into decay. You need not seek for long to find an example of such mortal decay: Arafat and his Palestine is one such example.
Once the indignation evaporates and media-focus/ public-attention shifts elsewhere, the Palestinians and the family of Arafat who seeks the justice will be left alone and bereft. This is the shameful state of affairs of the world today.
But justice will be done because nothing is permanent. The immutable law of the universe over which only the Almighty presides dictates that they will one day pay for their evil deeds. Let those who have ears hear now, and those who have eyes see. Neither the Sun or the moon nor the truth can be hidden for long.
