Had Snowden and Manning exposed the atrocities of Taliban, Had Snowden and manning striped naked and insult Islam and Muslims, they would have been standing in the stages of UN or else the US with their loyal allies would have been presenting them medals and award.
But alas, what happened to them? Bradley Manning sentenced to 35 years behind bars and Snowden, the young man is hounded by the government of his country for exposing its sly mechanism, of its covert war against the whole world, not to speak of its own citizens.
Amidst the hysterical cries of “Traitor” what Bradley Manning revealed first and foremost were war crimes. Rather than being jailed, tortured and demonized, let alone possibly imprisoned for the rest of his life, he should be thanked for saving many lives, girls women, children, Afghans, Pakistanis and Yemenis who might otherwise have been blown by US bombs and American soldiers who otherwise would have recklessly been put in harm’s way. Perhaps the only thing more horrifying than revelations like the Collateral Murder video is the fact that such acts, like the My Lai Massacre in Vietnam, are standard operating procedure and not exceptions.
Similarly, Edward Snowden revealed the extent to which the US empire regards the rest of the world as enemies who must be monitored at all times. One of the most telling moments of Manning’s show trial was when the prosecution referred to WikiLeaks and, by inference, Manning and Snowden, as “an intelligence agency for the public.”
From being a victim of the Taliban, she appears to be a “mind-controlled victim” of the US and Europe. Talibans not not shot her, they shot her friends too and now forgotten by everyone. Where are they? Are they protected? Any school named after them?
Ever since she was shot at by the Taliban, the cheerleaders of humanity, the US, European union and their tails have expressed cursory concern for Malala but anyone heard of Abeer Qassim Hamza, a 14 year old girl, raped and burned alive by the US occupation forces in Iraq. Just think of these kids the US forces fought in Iraq and then took them captive to Abu Ghraib. Think about of abused oppressed and stone-pelting Palestinian kids. Forgot about the Kashmiri girls opressed by the Indian occupation force? Or the Bosnaik girls, who were rape victims of the serb forces during Bosnian war? These are representatives of their countries, not fringe groups, they all need recognition.
In her UN speech on July this year malala said :
“Thousands of people have been killed by the terrorists and millions have been injured. I am just one of them. So here I stand, one girl among many. I speak not for myself, but so those without a voice can be heard. Those who have fought for their rights. Their right to live in peace. Their right to be treated with dignity. Their right to equality of opportunity. Their right to be educated.”
If only she had said that the Taliban kill children, so do the Americans, the Brits and other western forces, her speech would have got universal applause. Perhaps, her speechwriters or those who are coaching this teenage international celebrity apparently did not want her to tarnish the West. If she could speak of child labour in India, closure of schools in Nigeria, poverty, child marriage and other social injustices, surely she could have also spoken of the hundreds of children who had been killed in US drone attacks in her own country and that too close to her home district, Swat. According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, more than 200 children, including girls, have been killed in US drone attacks in Pakistan and Yemen. In neighbouring Afghanistan, 4.8 children are killed every day in violence linked to the US occupation of the country.
She said the Taliban bomb schools, but she should know that invading American troops also had little respect for schools in Iraq. How can Malala or her speechwriters ignore the fact that the War in Fallujah, Iraq had its origins in a protest launched by parents demanding that some 900 US troops who had been occupying Al- Qaeeda primary school vacate the premises and let the children go to school? The American troops killed seventeen Iraqi parents who were fighting for their children’s right to education – a cause Malala is now championing.
Today the American regime portrays Muslim horde as a potential enemies of the world but infact these Americans, Europeans and Zionist cooperate thieves are behind all the wickedness in the world today. Hiroshima, Nagashaki, Iraqi and Afghan invasion, battale for oil, illuminati, AIDS, 9/11 inside job, colonialism exploits, mercury in your vaccines etc. This is the truth of the hypocritical world we are living in, ruled by these cooperate thieves and warmongers.
